I make brands and the things around them (words, type, interfaces) for people who’d rather be respected than noticed.

I started in editorial design, spent a decade in studios, and now work independently with a handful of clients a year. I care about the boring parts (the grid, the kerning, the fourth draft of the copy) because that’s where the difference lives.

Outside work: long walks, letterpress, and an unreasonable number of notebooks.
